There Won't Be Any Zombie Dong in Zack Snyder's 'Army of the Dead'
Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead is heading to theatres and streaming later this month, and while the film boasts an apparently well-deserved R rating, the filmmaker has admitted to having to tone down some of the movie's more explicit scenes.

Speaking with the Sunday Times [via IndieWire], Snyder explained that he had originally imagined a sequence — which has since been cut — that would have featured some racy zombie nudity.

"We had a sequence where one of the male strippers had a huge penis with a bite taken out of it," Snyder said, explaining that they opted to move forward without the scene because they "thought that was too much."

But before anyone tries to get the next "Snyder Cut" trending, keep in mind that so far, it's still unclear if the scene made it past the writers' room to actually be filmed.

What Snyder has said is that fans can expect is "pure zombie mayhem," as well as "warmth and real emotion with these great characters" from the film set in Nevada's infamous Area 51.

The "full-blown, balls-to-the-wall" zombie heist is due to hit Netflix on May 21 and stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Huma Qureshi, Omari Hardwick, Tig Notaro (replacing Chris D'Elia), Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Matthias Schweighöfer, Raúl Castillo, Nora Arnezeder and Samantha Win.
