Red Fang Are Back with New Album 'Arrows'
Red Fang are returning with a new album. Titled Arrows, the record is due out June 2 via Relapse.

The album marks the fifth from the long-running Portland rock unit and their first since 2016's Only Ghosts. To get us going now, we have the title track "Arrows," which has arrived with its own music video.

"Wow! We are so excited to finally release this record to the world!" Red Fang vocalist/bassist Aaron Beam said in a statement. "We finished the album way back in December 2019 and then… something happened that is not worth discussing."

Arrows was produced by the band's longtime collaborator Chris Funk, who helped give what Beam calls a "totally loose and easy" vibe to the album.

"It felt like we were just doing whatever the fuck we wanted, and not overthinking anything," Beam explained. "That attitude reminded me a lot of what it felt like to make [2011 album] Murder the Mountains. The result doesn't sound anything like MTM, but it has more of that vibe."
